This year Climate activist Greta Thunberg featured on the cover page of Time magazine and named as a ‘ Person of the Year’ also Time named her one of 2019’s 10 Next Generation Leaders as well.
A sixteen years Swedish girl has begun a global movement by skipping school and inspired 4 million people. She started movement named as ‘school strikes for climate’ outside the Swedish parliament and spread it all over the world.
She addressed heads of states at the UN on global climate crisis and met the pope, sparred with the president of the united states.
However, US President Donald Trump was also in the race for ‘Person of the Year’, and this year he was nominated for this and became the runner up. He has been on the cover page of TIME magazine over 15 times. And named as’ person of the year’ in 2016.
“So ridiculous,” the president wrote.“Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!” she has been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, had an “anger management problem” and should “chill” – no pun apparently intended.
This was not the first-time trump tweeted on her, earlier also Trump tweeted Thunberg’s speech at the UN, adding “She seems like a very happy young girl looking forward to a bright and wonderful future. So nice to see!” Thunberg trolled Trump by making his tweet in her Twitter bio. President Trump expected that he would be named as ‘person of the year’ but he wasn’t.
Now also in reply to the president’s tweet, Thunberg changed bio description on Twitter. “A teenager working on her anger management problem, and currently chilling and watching a good old fashioned movie with a friend.”
